Product Focus

Selling wood flooring samples online. Target: 10–12 samples per week. Customers purchase samples first, then decide on full flooring purchases.

SEO Priority

Google search is the primary traffic source. SEO is strong due to low competition in Portugal. Previously penalised by Google for lack of purchasable products — now being fixed.

Market Expansion

Currently operating in Portugal. Planning expansion to Spain. Will purchase woodflooring.es domain (expected in 2 months) — Spanish market won't trust a .pt domain.

Multi-Language

5 languages required: Portuguese (primary), English, Spanish, Dutch, German. Piers will provide translations for all languages.

Positioning Challenge

Current website is perceived as a contracting/installation company rather than a product-oriented e-commerce business. Need to make product orientation immediately clear.

Future Products

Phase 2 will include selling installation products: glues, underlays, and other accessories. Website architecture should support this expansion.
